Year 3 2026 - 2027

Welcome to Year 3!

A very warm welcome to Year 3! We hope you have all had a lovely, restful summer and enjoyed spending some special time together as a family. We are really looking forward to welcoming the children back to school and hearing all about their summer adventures.

We have lots of exciting learning, experiences and opportunities planned for the year ahead and we can’t wait to get started. We want Year 3 to be a happy, positive year where the children feel settled, supported and excited about their learning. We are looking forward to getting to know the children even better and seeing all that they achieve throughout the year.

PE

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure children have the correct PE kit in school ready for these days.

Reading

Reading books will be changed every Monday, providing children have read their books sufficiently. Please encourage your child to read regularly at home and record their reading in their reading record.

Important dates, upcoming events and other useful Year 3 information will be included in our class newsletter, which will be shared on here at the end of the first week.
