Year 3 2025 - 2026

Welcome to Year 3!

We are very excited to welcome you all back after the summer break and to begin an exciting new chapter in Key Stage 2. Starting the juniors is a big step, and we’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, fun, and new opportunities.

We have lots of exciting topics we will be covering in class this half term, so please keep up to date with our learning here on our class page, where regular blogs will be added showing you everything we have been getting up to, alongside important information and key dates for your diaries. 

Make sure to check out our 'Autumn Newsletter' and our 'Curriculum on a Page' (*coming soon) to give you a more detailed overview of what we will be looking at in class this term. 

Please make sure you have also made note of the key dates for this half term, which can be found on the front page of this term's newsletter. As always, we have lots of fantastic opportunities planned this half term across the school for our children, as well as important parent/carer meetings and workshops for you to be aware of as well. 

Key Information for Year 3:

• PE Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays 

• Reading: Children are expected to read at least 4 times a week. Please remember to record this in their reading diary each time.

• Uniform: Only small stud earrings are permitted in school, and long hair should be tied back for safety.
