Safeguarding

Safeguarding children is the responsibilty of all adults at James Brindley CPS.

The Designated Senior Person for Safeguarding is Mrs K. Stokes In Miss Stokes' absence, Mrs Simmons takes responsibility for safeguarding. Mrs Sharrock is also Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead. 

James Brindley CPS is part of Operation Encompass. This protocol ensures that incidents of domestic violence that occur in the home of any of our children that come to the attention of the Police, are recorded in school and the impact on the child and family is considered by the lead person at school. Mrs K. Stokes is the lead person for 'Encompass' with, Mrs Simmons taking responsibility in Mrs Stokes' absence
