Sports Council

Our Sports Council play a key role in being the voice of our pupils in making sporting related decisions and planning sports events: planning and leading our annual Inter House games such as Sports Week and Cross Country, and along with our team of Playground Leaders actively enforce our Sporting Values within their classes and the wider school.

The Sports Council is formed from children from Year 1 to Year 6, who are voted for to represent their class. They meet to help make decisions about our annual competitions calendar, the range of extra-curricular activities we offer, and the format of our annual sports day. The class representatives take ideas and comments from the children in their class so everyone has a voice; they then feedback to their peers after each meeting.

We are incredibly proud to hold the Platinum School Games Mark; recognising of our school's commitment to PE and school sport.

Autumn Term News

During the Autumn Term our Sports Councillors planned a Family Festive Fun Run event which they successfully held on Thursday 5th December. All of our pupils along with members of their families stomped the pavements, covering hundreds of miles between them, in order to raise money to buy new reading books.
