Eco Council - Remembrance Day

The Eco Council have continued their work with the Friend’s of Parr Fold Park and collaborated on a Remembrance Day display in the park.
We have used recycled bottles to create poppies, which we have turned into garlands. We also research the names of local soldiers from World War One and threaded their names on to our garlands too.
We then took our garlands down to Parrfold Park to line the walk way of trees up to the cenotaph.
On Remembrance Day, we held an assembly for the rest of the school to explain all about the importance of Remembrance Day and our work with the Friend's of Parrfold Park.
